This coming Monday marks the 34th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a national holiday and day of service. MLK Day is a time to reflect, learn, and take action–it is a time to “walk the walk” when it comes to important, tense, much-discussed issues of race, diversity, and inclusion. For schools particularly, it is an opportunity to encourage students to think outside the box about these issues.
